Busy busy busy. It’s all go on the glass front.

Although my internship officially ended last week, Stephen kindly said that I could make use of the studio facilities this week while he is on holiday. Which means I’ve been lucky enough to keep going to Wasps studios and really make a push at working on my stained-glass version of ‘The Master and Margarita.’

Paint, kiln, paint, kiln… that’s pretty much been the pattern of the week!

First up, was my panel for a particular scene from the ‘Black Magic and it’s Exposure‘ chapter of the novel, where Woland (the Devil) and his band of followers host a theatrical magic show, which becomes riotous as roubles shower from the ceiling.  Below is just the first layer of paint on the glass – I’ll be adding a few more layers of shading, colour and detail (in the…
